The Birth of Kitaro: The Mystery of Gegege ~Recollection Exhibition~ in Osaka and Aichi will be held from November 22, 2024!
The successful exhibition “Kitaro’s Birth: The Mystery of GeGeGe ~Recollection Exhibition~,” which was well-received at Ikebukuro PARCO and Hiroshima PARCO, will be touring to Osaka and Aichi!
This immersive exhibition, created to commemorate the 100th anniversary of Shigeru Mizuki’s birth, is themed around the film *Kitaro’s Birth: The Mystery of GeGeGe*. It will be held at Shinsaibashi PARCO in Osaka starting November 22, 2024, and at Nagoya PARCO in Aichi starting December 28, 2024.
The exhibition allows visitors to dive into the world of the film, exploring behind-the-scenes aspects of character design and art settings. Expect photo spots that trace the story and recreations of art.
Additionally, purchasing a ticket with an audio guide will provide a special audio tour with voices from Kitaro’s father (voiced by Toshiro Seki) and Shigeru Mizuki (voiced by Hidenobu Kiuchi). This is a must-see event for fans, so don’t miss it!
