Awa Odori has a history of over 400 years. Every year from August 11 to 15, more than one million visitors from Japan and abroad come to Tokushima City, filling the entire city with excitement. Awa Odori is famously known for being easy to join even for first-timers, as the saying goes, “Raise your hands and move your feet, and you’re doing Awa Odori.” Feel the rhythm of “Yoshiko” and dive into the whirlpool of excitement!
