Yuwaku Bonbori Festival 2025 (Lighting Ceremony)
The hot spring town of Yuwaku, the model for the main setting in the 2011 anime “Hanasaku Iroha” (called “Yunosagi Onsen” in the show), has become a pilgrimage site for many anime fans.
At first, locals were curious about fans reenacting scenes, but as rumors spread online and the town was credited in the anime’s end credits, accommodation bookings surged during Golden Week 2011.
