Collaboration Content:
New collaborative artwork featuring Sumikko Gurashi characters dressed up as prehistoric creatures.
Sumikko characters will appear wearing costumes inspired by creatures such as Anomalocaris, Dimetrodon, and Steller’s sea cow.
Merchandise using this collaboration artwork will be sold at the venue shop.
About the Exhibition (“Mass Extinction”):
A special exhibition themed around the “Big Five” mass extinction events in Earth’s history.
Fossils, rocks, and other evidence are used to explain how life survived and evolved through repeated mass extinctions.
Supervised by researchers from the National Museum of Nature and Science, presenting perspectives from paleontology, volcanology, ancient climate, ancient oceans, and more.
