Shiogama Minato Festival 2026

The Shiogama Minato Festival is held every year in Shiogama City, Miyagi Prefecture, on the third Monday of July (Marine Day).
Together with the Kangen-sai at Itsukushima Shrine in Miyajima, Hiroshima Prefecture, and the Kibune Festival at Kibune Shrine in Manazuru, Kanagawa Prefecture, it is considered one of Japan’s Three Great Boat Festivals.
