Hakata Gion Yamakasa 　2026

Hakata Gion Yamakasa is a Shinto ritual (Gion festival) in which elaborately decorated floats known as “Yamakasa” are dedicated to Kushida Shrine, regarded as the guardian shrine of Hakata, located in Hakata Ward, Fukuoka City. It has been designated as an Important Intangible Folk Cultural Property of Japan.
