Hideko Tachikake Exhibition: Ribon 70’s Otome-tic☆Epoch 2026

An exhibition focusing on Hideko Tachikake, the manga artist who led the “Otome-tic” movement that became a major sensation in the 1970s during the history of the girls’ manga magazine “Ribon,” which is celebrating its 70th anniversary.
Displaying original drawings from representative works such as “P.M. 3:15 Love♡Poem” and “Natchan’s First Love,” as well as delicate and dramatic series like “Milky Way,” “Stay Close on Rainy Days,” and “Flower Swing Swaying…”
Commemorating the 40th anniversary of her final work in Ribon, “Hoshi Seiya” (1986), precious original drawings that have rarely been shown before will be unveiled for the first time.
Original drawings by A-ko Mutsu and Yumiko Tabuchi, who were also active in “Ribon” during the same era, will also be on display.

Admission includes entry to the Takehisa Yumeji Memorial Museum.
