The Aizen Festival 2026
The Aizen Festival is held annually from June 30 to July 2 at Aizendo Shoman-in, commonly known as “Aizen-san,” a sub-temple of Shitennoji, the head temple of the Washu sect, located in Tennoji Ward, Osaka City, Osaka Prefecture. Alongside the Tenjin Festival and the Sumiyoshi Festival, it is regarded as one of Osaka’s three major summer festivals. It is a summer festival organized by a Buddhist temple.
