The Naha Hari Festival 2026
The Naha Hari Festival is a traditional Hari boat race held every year in Naha City, Okinawa Prefecture, over three days during Japan’s Golden Week.
It is the largest Hari event in Okinawa and one of the largest annual events in the prefecture.
In addition to the boat races held at sea, a wide variety of events take place throughout the three days. One of the organizing bodies, Okinawa Television, broadcasts the races live as well as special programs.
