Akira Amano Exhibition The Characters in Ikebukuro
A large-scale exhibition featuring the works of Akira Amano, titled “Akira Amano Exhibition The Characters,” has been confirmed to take place at Ikebukuro Sunshine City from May 18 to June 23, 2024.
The announcement was made during the “Forbidden Detective Ron Kamonohashi” stage at “Jump Festa 2024,” which is currently being held at Makuhari Messe in Chiba. The exhibition will celebrate the 20th anniversary of the serialization of “Katekyo Hitman REBORN!” and will showcase graphics and illustrations of iconic scenes from Amano’s works, spanning from “Katekyo Hitman REBORN!” to “ēlDLIVE” and “Forbidden Detective Ron Kamonohashi.” It aims to provide a glimpse into the diverse worlds created by Amano and explore the charm of the impressive “all-star” characters. Commemorative original goods will also be available for purchase during the exhibition. Following the event in Sunshine City, the exhibition is set to tour nationwide.
