Ako Gishi Festival 2025
The Ako Gishi Festival is held annually on December 14 in Ako City, Hyogo Prefecture, to commemorate the day the 47 loyal Ako retainers avenged their lord. First held in 1903, it is Ako’s largest and most historic event, celebrated for over 100 years.
