At Grandeco Resort, nestled within the Bandai Asahi National Park, the autumn foliage season unfolds its beauty. Starting from late September, the summit area sees the vibrant transformation of beech, maple, and lacquer trees. As the season progresses into late October, the deciduous pines surrounding the foothills turn into a golden hue. Over the span of approximately one month, visitors can immerse themselves in the captivating transition of autumn colors.

Accompanying the fall foliage, one can enjoy the majestic views of renowned Japanese mountains such as Mount Bandai, Mount Adatara, and Mount Nishiazuma, along with the scenic beauty of Lake Inawashiro. This picturesque landscape attracts around 15,000 visitors annually.

The ropeway, spanning from the base station at an elevation of 1,010 meters to the summit station at 1,390 meters, covers a vertical distance of 380 meters and a distance of 2,392 meters. The one-way journey takes approximately 15 minutes, offering passengers, including pets such as dogs and cats, a delightful experience of the autumn scenery.
