Hachinohe sansya taisai 2024
The Hachinohe Sansha Taisai, the largest festival in the Hachinohe region, takes place annually from July 31 to August 4. This festival is known for its traditional and elegant shrine processions, as well as the splendid and luxurious floats. In December 2016, the festival was registered as a UNESCO Intangible Cultural Heritage under the category of “Yama, Hoko, Yatai, float festivals in Japan.”
