Hakusan Park Niigata Sakura When 2024
Hakusan Park in Chuo Ward, Niigata City is known as a famous cherry blossom viewing spot. The best time to see them is usually from mid-April to early May, and in 2022 they were in full bloom from April 11th to 14th.
Hakusan Park also has hidden cherry blossom viewing spots, such as in front of the fountain and around the pond. You can also enjoy the spring festival at the adjacent Niigata Sochinju Hakusan Shrine and the cherry blossoms in full bloom. The Spring Festival is held from April 12th to 18th every year, and there are many festival stalls, including Niigata’s specialty Poppoyaki.
Around Hakusan Park, there are the Shinano River Yasuragi Bank Park and Hakusan Park Hanging Garden.
