A performance in the Classic Movie Reading series, reimagining the classic musical film “Singin’ in the Rain” through creative stage direction and live musical performances.
Set in Hollywood around 1927, during the transition from silent films to talkies, the story follows movie star Don, stage actress Kathy, and their close friend Cosmo.
Starring Hidenori Tokuyama, Moeka Koizumi, Masaki Yabe, Hideru Minamoto, Yuki Mao, Eisuke Tsuda, and Toru Kugasawa.
Masaki Yabe and Hideru Minamoto will appear as double-cast performers.
Live music will be performed with bass, piano, trumpet, and drums.
Selected performances will include an after-talk session with the cast.
Reception and lobby entry are scheduled to begin 60 minutes before the performance, and auditorium entry is scheduled to begin 45 minutes before the performance.
