Karatsu Kunchi Festival 2025
The Karatsu Kunchi is the annual autumn festival of Karatsu Shrine in Karatsu City, Saga Prefecture, held from November 2 to 4 each year. The highlight is the parade of 14 massive floats (hikiyama), elaborately crafted with lacquer and shaped like lions, dragons, ships, and more — all showcasing bold and splendid designs.
