KYOTO SOUNDTRACK FESTIVAL 2025
This is the world’s first music festival focusing on “soundtrack music” (background music) which plays a key role in popular Japanese animation works worldwide.
Until now, no festivals specialized in soundtrack music have been held either in Japan or internationally. Motivated by the desire to “deliver the greatness of music to the world” and “hold a soundtrack music festival in Japan,” the first event “Episode 0” was held in September 2022 at Kamigamo Shrine in Kyoto.
