Leading Horror “Thumb Search” 2024

Yusuke Yamada’s novel “Oyayubi Sagashi” will be adapted into a reading play with a script and direction by Shinichi Ono. The novel tells the story of people caught in a tragedy after engaging in the cursed game “Oyayubi Sagashi.” The cast varies by performance day, with Mizuki Umetsu playing Takeshi Sawa and Mariya Ise playing Yumi Tadokoro on July 6th, while Fumiya Takao (BUDDiiS) plays Tomohiko Igarashi, Kaori Maeda plays Chie Takada, and Jun Murakami (Shizuru) plays Nobuhisa Yoshida.

On July 7th, Kensuke Takahashi plays Takeshi Sawa, Aoi Koga plays Yumi Tadokoro, Masayasu Yagi plays Tomohiko Igarashi, Karin Isobe plays Chie Takada, and KAZUMA (Shizuru) plays Nobuhisa Yoshida.

Regarding the production, Yamada commented, “Oyayubi Sagashi is based on a game I played in elementary school. The novel is derived from those experiences. Play it out of mischief, and it could truly take you away.”
