Naha Great Tug-of-War Festival 2025
The Naha Great Tug-of-War Festival is one of Naha’s three major festivals, held annually over the three-day weekend that includes Japan’s Health and Sports Day in October. The highlight of the festival is a massive tug-of-war using the world’s largest straw rope, certified by the Guinness Book of Records. In 2025, it is scheduled to be held from October 11 to 13.
