Natori Summer fes 2024
The “Natori Summer Festival,” a long-standing tradition in the coastal area of Natori City, specifically the Yuriage district, has been cherished for many years. Following the Great East Japan Earthquake, the festival was relocated to the inland Shimomasuda district and has been held there since 2012. Moreover, due to the impact of the COVID-19 pandemic in recent years, the festival had to be canceled for two consecutive years. Overcoming the challenges posed by the earthquake and the coronavirus, the festival was successfully held in the Yuriage district last year for the first time in 12 years.
The 38th edition of the festival, with participants coming together in solidarity, aims to honor the memory of those who lost their lives in the earthquake, express gratitude for the support towards reconstruction, and convey hope for the future of all attendees.
