Event Overview
A city-walking event where visitors can explore the Nihonbashi and Yaesu areas while encountering Pokémon will be held from September through November. The area will feature statues of 19 Pokémon, with more than 100 Pokémon appearing throughout the streets in various displays, all of which can be viewed for free.
The paid puzzle-solving activity involves searching for Legendary Pokémon while decoding an encrypted report. Participation requires a ¥3,300 puzzle kit exchange ticket including tax and an internet-connected device. Tickets are sold online only, with no on-site payment available, and puzzle kits can be collected on the 1st floor of Nihonbashi Mitsui Tower.
Original merchandise will also be sold on the 5th floor of Tokyo Midtown Yaesu and can be purchased without joining the puzzle activity. Payments there are completely cashless. A tie-in campaign with “Pokémon GO” will also be held.
