- A rerun performance of The End of the Promise by the reading play project READING WORLD
- The official performance title is “Reading Play READING WORLD UNESCO Memory of the World Heritage Maizuru: Return to Japan ‘The End of the Promise’ (Rerun)”
- The story is set against the historical background of Maizuru Port in Kyoto, which became Japan’s final repatriation port after World War II, and is based on the memories of people who experienced internment in Siberia
- The production, originally performed at Maizuru City General Cultural Center in Kyoto in 2024, will be restaged at Tokyo International Forum Hall A
- Cast members include Hikaru Midorikawa, Daisuke Sakuma, Kazuya Nakai, Ayane Sakura, Hiro Shimono, Toshiyuki Toyonaga, and Marina Inoue
- Daily cast variations are planned
- Written by Heisuke Yamashita; direction and video by Yoriko Jun; original direction by Taiki Matsuno; music by Goro Oshima
- Tickets are reserved seating only, priced at 12,000 yen tax included
