Sendai Castle Sakura When 2024
There are approximately 480 cherry trees centered around the Sendai City Museum. During the peak viewing period, you can enjoy a charming landscape created by the cherry blossoms and the restored Main Gate-side turret (Wakiyagura) of Sendai Castle. Typically, the best time to view the cherry blossoms is from mid to late April.
Points of Interest: The cherry tree-lined path leading towards Miyagi Prefectural Sendai Second High School is called the “Cherry Blossom Path,” and when in full bloom, it transforms into a splendid sight.
