“Mobile Suit Zeta Gundam” is the second installment of the Gundam series, produced in 1985, six years after the original “Mobile Suit Gundam.” The story takes place in the Universal Century 0087, seven years after the end of the One Year War. It follows Kamille Bidan, who steals the Gundam Mk-II and becomes embroiled in the conflict between the factions AEUG and the Titans. In 2005, a trilogy of theatrical films was released, incorporating original cuts and taking advantage of the existing footage, to great acclaim.

“Mobile Suit Gundam: Char’s Counterattack” is the fourth theatrical film in the Gundam series. It depicts the final battle between Amuro and Char, each fighting for their own sense of justice. This landmark film is a pivotal moment in the Gundam saga, serving as a culmination of the initial story arc with protagonist Amuro Ray and his rival Char Aznable. The film features intense animated battle scenes involving advanced mobile suits such as Amuro’s Nu Gundam and Char’s custom-built Sazabi, as well as groundbreaking visual elements like computer-generated space colony imagery. It skillfully weaves a complex narrative involving Earth and space colonies with a large cast of characters.
