he Seihaku Festival 2026

The Seihaku Festival is a major traditional festival held annually from May 1 to 5 in Nanao City, Ishikawa Prefecture. It is one of the city’s most representative events and is designated as a National Important Intangible Folk Cultural Property of Japan. The festival is also registered as a UNESCO Intangible Cultural Heritage and is counted among the four major festivals of the Nanao region.
