The Isurugi Hikiyama Festival 2026

The Isurugi Hikiyama Festival is a traditional spring festival held on April 29 each year in the Isurugi area of Oyabe City, Toyama Prefecture. Originating in the mid-Edo period, it is one of the three major festivals of the region. The event features a procession of three portable shrines and eleven festival floats. In earlier times, it was held from April 23 to 25.
