The Kurayami Festival 2026

The Kurayami Festival (Kurayami Matsuri) is an annual grand festival held from April 30 to May 6 at Okunitama Shrine in Fuchu City, Tokyo, which served as the main shrine of Musashi Province’s former provincial capital. Originating from the ancient “Kokufu Festival” of Musashi Province, it has been designated as an Intangible Folk Cultural Property of Tokyo.
During the festival period, it attracts approximately 700,000 visitors.
