Sōma Nomaoi 2026

The Sōma Nomaoi is a traditional festival held primarily in the Nakamura district of Sōma City and across the northern coastal region (Hamadori) of Fukushima Prefecture, formerly the territory of the Sōma clan (the Nakamura Domain during the feudal period).
It is the festival of the three Myōken shrines: Sōma Nakamura Shrine, Sōma Ōta Shrine, and Sōma Odaka Shrine.
