Natori Summer Festival 2026

The Natori Summer Festival has been held since around 1985 in the Yuriage district of Natori City, Miyagi Prefecture.
The festival traditionally featured fishing boat parades, fireworks, and stage performances. However, due to the devastating damage caused by the Great East Japan Earthquake in March 2011, the Yuriage port district was destroyed, and the festival for that year was cancelled.
From 2012 onward, the Natori Summer Festival has been held on the grounds of an elementary school in the Mitazono area of the city.
