Machi★Asobi vol.30 is a large-scale anime event held across Tokushima City, Tokushima Prefecture! One of its biggest charms is being able to explore and enjoy the event while walking around the city, giving it a very different atmosphere from a typical venue-based event!

This year’s event will take place on May 16–17, 2026! At the moment, details for stages and events, parasol and vacant-store areas, the area map, and numbered ticket distribution are still coming soon, but exciting announcements have already been made, including participation from “Demon Slayer: Kimetsu no Yaiba,” “Witch on the Holy Night,” and “Azur Lane: Slow Ahead! Season 2,” along with a special soundtrack & insert song live performance, the Itasha Grand Prix, cosplay events, and even sauna content!

It looks like Tokushima will once again be filled with anime excitement for these two days! If you plan to come by car, be sure to check parking conditions in advance, and using public transportation or nearby paid parking lots is recommended. For the latest details, check the official website!

Overview of the event - tickets, cosplay, etc.

Machi★Asobi vol.30 is a large-scale anime event held across the city itself! Set in Tokushima City, Tokushima Prefecture, one of its biggest attractions is being able to enjoy the event while exploring different spots around town. At the moment, details such as stages and events, parasol and vacant-store areas, the area map, and numbered ticket distribution are still coming soon, but information has already been released for participation by “Demon Slayer: Kimetsu no Yaiba,” “Witch on the Holy Night,” and “Azur Lane: Slow Ahead! Season 2,” as well as a special soundtrack & insert song live performance, the Itasha Grand Prix, sauna content, and cosplay events!

Participation Fee：General 2,000 yen
Same-day Registration (if tickets remain available)：+1,000 yen
Student Fee：500 yen (high school students and younger)
Camera Participation：2,000 yen
Smartphone Photography：No registration required / free

Important Notes
・Additional information about the main Machi★Asobi event and venue details will be released gradually.
・There is no dedicated parking for the venue, so visitors will need to use public transportation or nearby paid parking lots.
・Cosplay participation and camera participation require registration. Registration is not required for smartphone photography only.
・Same-day registration is not guaranteed, and if it is available, an additional 1,000 yen will be charged.
・If you plan to use the changing room or cloak service, please complete the procedure at the designated reception area.
・Arriving and leaving while still in cosplay is permitted under certain conditions.
・Nuisance behavior such as staying overnight, arriving early in the morning, or cutting in line is prohibited.
・Bringing in or using audio or video recording equipment is prohibited except for events where it is specifically permitted.
