World Cosplay Summit, also known as WCS, is one of the world’s largest cosplay events, held every year in Nagoya, Japan. In 2026, the event will be held from July 31 (Fri) to August 2 (Sun), 2026. Cosplayers from around the world gather for this event, which features stage events, parades, the World Cosplay Championship, photo shooting, and of course, cosplay!!

How to get ticket of WCS

To participate in WCS 2026, you need to purchase a ticket. This section summarizes the basic ticket information in an easy-to-understand way.

How to Get Tickets
WCS 2026 tickets can be purchased through Ticket Pia or from the multi-copy machines at Seven-Eleven stores in Japan.
For overseas participants, tickets are expected to be available through international platforms such as KKday.

Ticket Pia may require free membership registration.
Convenience store payment is available until 3 days before each event date.
After that deadline, only credit card payment may be available online.
Tickets cannot be changed or refunded after purchase.
Additional service fees may apply when purchasing tickets.

These are the tickets you can get for cosplayers. For proof of participation, you a pass for day 1 and a towel for day 2 & 3!!

Ticket for Cosplayers without Changing Room


This ticket is for cosplayers who do not need to use a changing room. It is suitable for those who change at home, at their hotel, or somewhere else before coming to the venue.

This ticket is valid only for the selected event date. If you want to attend more than one day, you need to purchase a ticket for each day.

Important Notes
Please exchange your ticket for a participation pass at the reception on the event day.
Changing rooms and cloakroom space are not included with this ticket.
If you need to use a changing room, please purchase a Cosplay Changing Room Ticket instead.
The event will be held even in rainy weather.

Changing room tickets are divided by venue and date. Please check the ticket details carefully before purchasing.

Important Notes
Changing Room Tickets include changing room access and an event participation pass.
Please exchange your ticket at the changing room venue on the event day.
Do not go to the Central Park Underground Mall reception if your ticket requires reception at a changing room venue.
The event will be held even in rainy weather.

Locker


If you have a Cosplay Changing Room Ticket, you can use the luggage storage / cloakroom area inside the changing room.

If you have a Cosplay Participation Ticket without changing room access, changing room luggage storage is not included. Please use coin lockers or other luggage storage services around the venue if needed.

Championship Ticket

The World Cosplay Championship is a competition where representative cosplayers from around the world perform on stage to determine the world’s No. 1 cosplay team!! A reserved seat ticket is required to watch the championship at the venue.

WCS goods will be distributed at the venue on the event day.
Designs and specifications of the goods may change without notice.
If you enter the venue in cosplay, please be careful with large costumes, as the seat width is about 50 cm.
Costumes or headgear that may block the view of other visitors may need to be removed, or entry may be restricted.

Here, we introduce hotels around Oasis 21, the main venue for WCS 2026!!



The map and list above include selected hotels around Oasis 21. Oasis 21 is located in the Sakae area of Nagoya, where there are many hotels, restaurants, shops, and train stations nearby.

During WCS, hotels around Oasis 21, Sakae Station, and Hisaya-odori Station may become more expensive than usual and can fill up quickly. If you want to stay close to the venue, early booking is strongly recommended.

If you want to save money, it may be better to look for hotels a little farther away from the main venue. Areas such as Nagoya Station, Fushimi, Kanayama, and Osu may offer more hotel options if you do not mind taking the train or walking a little. Capsule hotels and internet cafes can also be cheaper options.
