The biggest anime song Live concert in Japan called Animelo Summer Live! This live concert event held in Japan every end of August at Saitama Super Arena, where it is super close to Tokyo. This event is always held in end of August. So you can just go after going to comic market. So just to make sure to reserve ticket. Very popular event so sold out very quick.

The ticket can reserve month before so we will tell you here when and where you can get ticket for this event as soon as we get info! There is no info about Anisama ticket yet for 2024. (This page is written in 2024/04/28)

Basic information of Anisama

Animelo Summer Live, or Anisama, is the world's largest anisong (anime song) event and has been held since 2005. Anisama is held every year around the end of August, and this year, 2024 will be held over three days, on 8/30, 8/31, and 9/1.

As for goods sales, it is expected that there will be sales this year, but it is still not clear if tickets will be available or not. However, if there is no ticket system, you may need to start lining up early. In that case, we recommend online shopping if you do not want to wait in line, (there's no information for Anisama 2024). About Cosplay Participation
In live events like Anisama, cosplay is not welcomed. Although there are a few individuals who cosplay every year, it's generally advisable to refrain from cosplay at such events!

Anisama offered several ticket lotteries and sales. Unfortunately, some reservation options are now closed. This section describes the reservation options that are currently available (as of 7/11) and the general ticket sales that are likely to take place in the near future.

Advance Reservation Lottery for Anisama 2023 Blu-ray Purchasers


This is a ticket reservation exclusively for those who purchased Anisama 2023 Blu-ray. You can apply for the lottery here for the fastest access. Additionally, for each serial number, you can apply for up to 2 tickets for each performance.

Special Open Seats (Closed)


These are special (equipment) open seats where you may have a limited view due to equipment being nearby, but you can experience the atmosphere of the venue. Also, unlike regular tickets, the price is about half, making it recommended for those who want to save money.

What you need for Anisama


Anisama is held in summer and there's Keyaki Hiroba stage so, you have to prepare many things!! We introduce what you need in the list below!! Also, for things that are needed, we colored them red. List below are the one we actually use in this event!

Transportation and hotels for Anisama

This section will tell you about hotels and transportation that you’re going to use on the day of Anisama!!

Transportation (Train)


In this part, we will explain about 2 train stations that are close to Saitama Super Arena (SSA), the venue of Anisama!!



Saitama-Shintoshin Station (Keihin-Tohoku line, Takasaki line, Utsunomiya line)
The station that is the closest to Saitama Super Arena (3 minutes walking). The station has 3 lines which make it more accessible from Tokyo. Most people use this station to go to Saitama Super Arena. In addition, there’s a shopping mall that has Yodobashi camera, a movie theater, and more called cocoon city. You can buy some stuff at Yodobashi Camera and go to the live event. 

Kitayono Station (Saikyo line)
another station that is close to Saitama Super Arena (7 minutes walking). We recommend using this station if Saitama Shintoshin Station is crowded or your accommodation is close to Saikyo line station.

Around Kitayono station, there are anime locations of bottom-tier character Tomozaki (Jaku-Chara Tomozaki-kun)!! Also, around Musashi Urawa station, which is 2 stations next to Kitayono station, there are anime locations of Call of the Night (Yofukashi no Uta)!! If you have time, why don’t you visit there??

Transportation (Others)


Bus
There are several bus stop around Saitama Super Arena, and there’s even a limousine bus that comes from Haneda airport, Sendai, and more!! Though there’re some bus stops around Saitama Super Arena, we recommend using trains because it is more accessible.

Taxi
Compared to buses and trains, taxis are more comfortable and making it easier to get around compared to the other transportation options described. However, taxis in Japan are expensive, so we do not recommend using them if you cannot afford them or want to spend more money on goods. Also, if you don't have a phone number in Japan, use the hotel reception or an app to call a taxi.

IC card
IC cards such as Suica, Pasmo and etc for buses and trains. We recommend to charge about ¥2,000.


Hotel around Anisama Venue


We will introduce hotels around the venue.



The above map and list provide all the hotels around Saitama Super Arena. As there are not many hotels around Saitama-Shintoshin Station, it is recommended to make reservations at the adjacent Omiya Station.

Prohibitions in Anisama


At Anisama, and/or at live events, there are several prohibitions, such as the prohibition of the use of modified penlights, the prohibition of jumping, and so on. This page introduces what is prohibited at Anisama.

About recording and using phones


Not only at Anisama, but also at most anime events and live events in Japan, it is prohibited to record video, use recording devices at the venue, or use mobile phones or other such devices during the show. If you are found doing so, you may be asked to leave the venue. If you are participating in the event, please do not film or record, and turn off your smartphones and tablets!

About dangerous or disruptive behaviors


Similar to the above, any behavior that may disturb the people around you, the staff, or the artists (pushing people away, hitting, extreme jumping, yelling, screaming, otagei, lifting people up, etc.) is also prohibited. Smoking, drinking, coming to the event drinking alcohol, bringing dangerous items, eating and drinking for purposes other than rehydration, etc. are also prohibited. Please do not do this.

※In the past, things that have happened are: touching the voice actors directly, destroying seats, putting kimchi on the head, releasing a lot of cockroaches, etc. Never try this.

About penlight, glow sticks


At Anisama, the use of penlights and psylliums is allowed, but they are limited to straight types no longer than 30 cm in length. Therefore, modified or homemade penlights, penlights that are so bright that they obstruct the view of others, or throwing and waving them around are prohibited.

Others (Like Advices)


Call and response
At a live concert, there is a call and response, commonly known as a call in Japanese. Especially for famous songs, there are calls, and if you remember them, you will be able to enjoy the atmosphere of the performance even more. However, since calls are not appropriate for ballad songs, etc., it is important to be aware of the genre of the song!

About penlight, glow stick

Keyaki Hiroba Stage
In the past, the Keyaki Hiroba Stage has featured live performances by voice actor units and a karaoke stage! You don't have to have a ticket to see it, so this is a great way to just feel the atmosphere!
