Matsuri = Festival!


The Yuwaku Bonbori Festival is a real-life festival inspired by the anime series Hanasaku Iroha.
The festival originally appeared in the anime, whose setting is modeled after Yuwaku Onsen in Kanazawa City, Ishikawa Prefecture.
After the anime aired in 2011, the fictional festival was brought to life through the cooperation of fans, the local community, and related organizations.
In 2026, the 14th Yuwaku Bonbori Festival will be held in Yuwaku Onsen Town.

Lighting time: 18:00–22:00
* Lanterns may be temporarily removed in the event of typhoons or other severe weather.

【Partner Hotel Accommodation Plan】
Sales start: April 24, 2026 (Friday) from 12:00
Accommodation benefits: 14th Yuwaku Bonbori Festival entry pass and commemorative goods
* The entry pass included with the partner hotel accommodation plan does not allow viewing of the Otakiage ritual.
Important Notes
・On the day of the main festival, vehicles without an official vehicle permit cannot enter the onsen town area.
・Visitors are encouraged to use public transportation.

Individual sponsorship applications are accepted by lottery from April 24, 2026 (Friday) 12:00 to May 24, 2026 (Sunday) 23:59.
The number of sponsorship slots is 350, and the sponsorship fee is 9,000 yen. Individual sponsor pass holders can view the Otakiage ritual.
Partner hotel accommodation plans go on sale from April 24, 2026 (Friday) at 12:00.
The accommodation benefits include an entry pass for the 14th Yuwaku Bonbori Festival and commemorative goods.
However, the entry pass included with the partner hotel accommodation plan does not allow viewing of the Otakiage ritual.
