Biggest cosplay event in Osaka!


Nippombashi Street Festa (hereafter “Stofes”) is a large-scale cosplay event held every spring in Osaka’s Nippombashi DenDen Town and Ota Road area!! The whole town fills up with cosplayers! After returning last year for the first time in five years, it will be held again this year! In addition to cosplay, there are itasha (decorated car) displays and merchandise booths, making it a super fun event not only for cosplay fans but also for fans of anime, games, and manga!

In 2026, it will be held on Sunday, May 17!
Venue: Nippombashi Shopping Street Area
Admission: Free (However, participation badges are required for cosplay and camera photography)
Event will be held rain or shine (cancelled in severe weather)

Sakaisuji (road opened to pedestrians) / 12:00–15:00 (Traffic regulation: 11:00–15:30)
Ota Road / 12:00–14:30 (Traffic regulation: 10:00–18:00)
Stofes Plaza (Times Osaka Namba) / 11:00–17:00
Gokai Plaza / 11:00–17:00
Namba Carnival Mall / 11:00–17:00
* Changing rooms operate from 10:00–17:30 (some may differ)

Overview of the event - tickets, cosplay, etc.

A large-scale cosplay event held in Osaka’s Nippombashi DenDen Town and Ota Road area! It takes place across the entire Nippombashi shopping district, featuring a wide variety of programs ranging from events anyone can join to a cosplay parade!! In 2026, it will be held in May, a season when it starts to get a bit warm, making it a perfect time to enjoy cosplay!!

To participate in cosplay or camera photography, you need to purchase a participation badge!! There are several types of badges, including ones that allow you to use the general changing rooms and ones that grant access to capacity-limited changing rooms. If you have a cosplay participation badge, you do not need to purchase an additional camera participation badge!! (Those who only participate in photography need to purchase a participation badge.)
