What you need for Anisama

Anisama is held in summer and there's Keyaki Hiroba stage so, you have to prepare many things!! We introduce what you need in the list below!! List below are the one we actually use in this event!

What you need for Anisama

Hotels for Anisama

Here are the hotels that exist in the around Makuhari Messe

The map and list above show all the hotels near Makuhari Messe. When there's a big event, hotel prices usually go up. So, especially the hotels mentioned are a bit expensive because they're in a good location.

Right now, staying for 2 nights and 3 days would cost at least 10,000 yen or more per room per day. As the event day gets closer, prices might go up more. If you're looking for a place to stay near the venue, it's a good idea to book early. For those wanting to save money, you could check out hotels a bit farther away, capsule hotels, or even internet cafes!

↑ (Click the image above when making hotel reservations) This is the biggest and the most popular travel company in Japan!! You can reserve hotel at reasonable price!! Cannot understand English? don't worry!! There are English, Thai, Korean and Chinese version for Rakuten!! You can switch it from language. If you're using Smartphone, change website to PC version and switch the language to your language.
To stay in Japan, Japanese site is always the cheapest.

Transportation (Train)

First, let’s talk about trains, which are expected to be the most commonly used way to get there on the day of Anisama 2026. The nearest station to Makuhari Messe (the venue) is Kaihin-Makuhari Station!! Basically, Kaihin-Makuhari Station is the closest and most convenient. The other options are farther away, so you probably won’t need them, but alternatives include Makuhari-Toyosuna Station and Makuhari-Hongo Station.

Stations you may use

Kaihin-Makuhari Station (JR)
If you’re going to Makuhari Messe, this is the station. It’s about a 5-minute walk to the venue—fastest and easiest. If you get off here, you’ll be fine. Kaihin-Makuhari is served by the JR Keiyō Line and the JR Musashino Line. It’s about 30 minutes from Tokyo by rapid service, and from Saitama it can take as little as about 1 hour from Minami-Urawa Station.

Makuhari-Toyosuna Station (JR)
It’s about a 20-minute walk from the station to the venue. Honestly, it’s pretty far… but there’s a huge Aeon Mall, Costco, Round1, and more near the station!! So it’s recommended for people who still have energy after Anisama and want to hang out, grab food, or do an afterparty.

Makuhari-Hongo Station (JR + Keisei)
A staggering 50-minute walk to the venue!! It’s very far, and at first glance it seems unusable for events at Makuhari Messe… but! The advantage of this station is the Keisei bus!! You can take the Keisei Bus (Route Makuhari 01) bound for “Makuhari Messe Chuo” and go directly to Makuhari Messe. The ride takes about 18 minutes and costs ¥260, which makes it a pretty easy way to reach the venue. The only downside is that buses don’t run very frequently…

Transportation (Bus)

In fact, the area around Makuhari Messe is very well served by buses, with a large number of routes available. In this section, we explain the buses and routes that stop at Makuhari Messe Central and Makuhari Messe (East Entrance), which you are most likely to use on the event day. Please note that the bus timetables and frequencies shown here are based on weekend schedules, as Anisama 2026 takes place on Friday, Saturday, and Sunday. Schedules may differ on weekdays, so please be careful.

Makuhari Messe Central
This is the bus stop you’ll use both when arriving and leaving!! If you get to Makuhari Messe Central, you’ll be fine in most cases. The routes serving this stop are operated by three companies: Keisei Bus, Chiba Seaside Bus, and Chiba Kaihin Kotsu.

Keisei Bus
Maku 01: Makuhari-Hongo Station → Makuhari Messe Central
Kai 61: From Shin-Narashino Station / To Kaihin-Makuhari Station (only the 7:01 departure from Shin-Narashino)
Kai 62: From Kaihin-Makuhari Station / To Shintoshin Depot (only the 21:42 departure from Kaihin-Makuhari)
Highway Bus: Haneda Airport → Makuhari Messe Central
Highway Bus: Narita Airport → Makuhari Messe Central

Even on the same Maku 01 route, some services do not stop at Makuhari Messe Central depending on the destination. If you want to get off at Makuhari Messe Central, be sure to board a bus bound for Makuhari Messe Central. Detailed timetables and route maps are available here.
For details on highway buses from Haneda and Narita Airports, see here.

Chiba Seaside Bus
293: Makuhari Messe Central → Hanamigawa Ward Office
243: Makuhari Messe Central ↔ JR Makuhari Station
239: Makuhari Messe Central ↔ Hanashima Park

Buses heading to Makuhari Messe run fairly often, but buses departing from Makuhari Messe are limited to only five per day, so please be careful. For timetables and details, check here.

Chiba Kaihin Kotsu
Bay Town Line: Shin-Kemigawa Station ↔ Makuhari-Toyosuna Station
There are 6 buses per day from Shin-Kemigawa Station and 8 buses per day from Makuhari-Toyosuna Station. For detailed timetables, see here.

Makuhari Messe (East Entrance)
This is the second-closest bus stop to the Anisama venue!! It’s a good alternative when buses to Makuhari Messe Central are crowded. The stop is located outside Exhibition Hall 8, and the number of bus services is by far the highest.

Keisei Bus
Maku 01: Makuhari-Hongo Station → ZOZO Marine Stadium

The Maku 01 route varies slightly depending on the destination. If you want to get off at Makuhari Messe (East Entrance), take a bus bound for the Medical Center or ZOZO Marine Stadium. Timetables, route maps, and real-time bus information are available here.

Chiba Seaside Bus
290: ZOZO Marine Stadium → Hanamigawa Ward Office
241: ZOZO Marine Stadium → JR Makuhari Station
234: ZOZO Marine Stadium → Hanashima Park

Buses heading to ZOZO Marine Stadium run fairly often, but buses departing from Makuhari Messe run only 8 times per day, with the last bus at 17:37, so please take note. For detailed timetables, see here.

Chiba Kaihin Kotsu
ZOZO Marine Stadium Line: ZOZO Marine Stadium ↔ JR Inage Station
Buses run every 30 minutes. It’s impressive. For detailed timetables, see here.

Prohibitions in Anisama

At Anisama, and/or at live events, there are several prohibitions, such as the prohibition of the use of modified penlights, the prohibition of jumping, and so on. This page introduces what is prohibited at Anisama.

About recording and using phones

Not only at Anisama, but also at most anime events and live events in Japan, it is prohibited to record video, use recording devices at the venue, or use mobile phones or other such devices during the show. If you are found doing so, you may be asked to leave the venue. If you are participating in the event, please do not film or record, and turn off your smartphones and tablets!

About dangerous or disruptive behaviors

Similar to the above, any behavior that may disturb the people around you, the staff, or the artists (pushing people away, hitting, extreme jumping, yelling, screaming, otagei, lifting people up, etc.) is also prohibited. Smoking, drinking, coming to the event drinking alcohol, bringing dangerous items, eating and drinking for purposes other than rehydration, etc. are also prohibited. Please do not do this.

※In the past, things that have happened are: touching the voice actors directly, destroying seats, putting kimchi on the head, releasing a lot of cockroaches, etc. Never try this.

About penlight, glow sticks

At Anisama, the use of penlights and psylliums is allowed, but they are limited to straight types no longer than 30 cm in length. Therefore, modified or homemade penlights, penlights that are so bright that they obstruct the view of others, or throwing and waving them around are prohibited.

Others (Like Advices)

About Call-and-Response
At live concerts, there is something called call-and-response, commonly referred to as “calls.” Many popular songs have established calls, and learning them in advance helps you get into the atmosphere and enjoy the show even more. However, calls usually don’t fit ballads or slower songs, so be sure to judge appropriately depending on the genre!!

About Penlights & Glow Sticks
To enjoy the live experience even more, we recommend bringing a penlight or glow sticks!! A particularly recommended option is the LumiAce 3 by Lumica Inc., one of Anisama’s sponsoring companies. The LumiAce 3 features a reserve mode that lets you check the next color at hand, so you can change colors smoothly without making mistakes!!

Keyakihiroba Stage
This year, due to renovation work at Saitama Super Arena, Anisama is being held at Makuhari Messe… so it’s currently unclear whether something like the Keyakihiroba Stage will take place. Still, let’s hope it will be held…!!
