If you're looking to purchase doujinshi, you absolutely must visit! It's the largest doujinshi sales chain store in Japan!

ジャンプショップ

Jump Shop is an exclusive store that deals only with Shonen Jump series works! It's in Fukuoka too, so if you're a fan of Weekly Shonen Jump, you must absolutely visit!

Mugiwara Store

Mugiwara Store is a One Piece exclusive shop! If you're a fan of One Piece, you must absolutely visit! There are also many limited edition goods available!

BANDAI NAMCO Cross Store Hakata

Bandai Namco Cross Store is a shop exclusively dealing with Bandai Namco works! If you're a fan of Gundam, One Piece, and related works, as well as iDOLM@STER, you must absolutely visit!

Animega Sofmap

Sofmap × Animega is a place within the Sofmap chain that incorporates many anime works! It's also available in Fukuoka, so be sure to check it out! Especially if you're into games (including H games, PS5, Nintendo Switch), there's a lot to explore!

Lashinbang

Lashinbang is Japan's largest second-hand anime goods shop! It's recommended for those interested in slightly older anime, game-related items, figures, and for those looking for cost-effective shopping. Particularly, the unboxed figures are incredibly affordable and highly recommended!

Mandarake

A super-established second-hand subculture specialty store focusing on anime, tokusatsu, and more. Since it deals with quite old works, it's a must-visit for those who love tokusatsu and vintage anime! They also have the latest anime goods available!

Surugaya

Surugaya is also highly recommended for otaku! It's a nationwide chain store that primarily deals with second-hand anime goods. It's especially recommended when buying figures! With two stores in Fukuoka, be sure to check them out!

Pokemon Center Fukuoka

If you love Pokémon, you absolutely must visit! It's a shop designed for Pokémon fans with a vast array of Pokémon goods! Since it's located in Fukuoka, be sure to check it out!

Ultraman World

Ultraman World M78 Canal City Hakata Store is not anime-related, but if you're a fan of Ultraman, it's a place you definitely want to visit! They exclusively offer Ultraman goods! Since it's located in Fukuoka, let's go check it out!

Manga Soko

Manga Soko is a chain of second-hand shops with numerous locations in Kyushu! They offer a wide range of products, including manga, anime, idols, tokusatsu-related items, electronic devices, books, game consoles, and more! While there are multiple stores in Fukuoka, they are mostly in countryside, so they might be a bit challenging to reach.

Donguri Republic

BOOK OFF is actually a recommended place for otaku! While it may seem like it's just for books, they also have a wide selection of TCG, games, and anime-related goods! However, I wouldn't recommend it for figures as they tend to be a bit on the expensive side.

A small-scale shop primarily focusing on Gunpla and figures! While it may be a smaller store, if you're a fan of Gunpla, plastic models, and figures, I recommend giving it a visit!

Jiku Chushin Ha Fukuoka

Jiku Chuushin-ha Fukuoka Store is a shop that primarily sells goods from anime-related illustrators! In addition to goods, they also offer woodblock prints, but be aware that they can be very expensive (over 100,000 yen), and there have been reports of high-pressure sales tactics. It's recommended that only those with significant financial means venture into the woodblock print area, as it is separate from the merchandise section.
